Anyone who knows Priscila knows that she spreads a ray of light wherever she goes.

Here she is, illuminating Greece:

After a month of befriending strangers and making small talk with people I had only just met, I was really looking forward to having a friend by my side again.

Her first night in Skyros, we kept each other up late talking and catching up on events since we last spoke.  We literally spewed words at each other and worried that we would have nothing left to talk about for the next seven days.

The next day, while eating a leisurely lunch,  we decided that we should take advantage of our time in the land of fresh fruit and vegetables to do a sort of body cleanse to get rid of all the big city pollution that must certainly have built up while in DC.  We decided to eliminate all fried foods, alcohol, sodas, dairy and bread for the next three days.

The cleanse lasted until dinner of the same day when a basket of herbed garlic bread was placed in front of us and Mythos beer was needed to wash it down.

We decided that we shouldn’t be so hard on ourselves in the land of Dionysis, god of wine and revelry.

We decided that we were only human after all.
